"There's an Asian Family in Our Bathroom..." Video Heavy

The first thing I HAVE to talk about is "500 Days of Summer." I don't know how many of you girls have seen the trailer for this movie but I totally adore it. I remember seeing it in passing but totally forgot about it till yesterday when Dan took me out to dinner cause I was hungry and mentioned that he was going to kidnap me to see a movie but I told him I was hungry. I told him to kidnap me after dinner and that he did indeed. He wouldn't tell me what movie we were seeing and we played a little guessing game until we finally got to the theater.

But back to the movie. I think this is a MUST see summer movie. Here's the official trailer:

The trailer explains it all. It's a boy meets girl story, but not a typical love story. It's much more realistic (but still has movie magic) than any other love story I've ever seen. It left me with a nice warm and fuzzy feeling though, I'll say that much. It's now officially one of my favorite movies of all time. It's up there with Garden State. The music featured in the movie was AWESOME.

It has Joseph Gordon-Levitt (from 10 Things I Hate About You) and Zoey Deschanel (ELF).
Their chemistry is wonderful to watch and the jokes are amazing. I laughed so much during this movie and didn't want it to be over. Might I add, Joseph Gordon-Levitt has grown into a fine young man??

I saw this video on ICA Images' blog. You should check her out. Her photography is pretty freakin' awesome! But I saw this video and totally fell in love with it.

Instrumental styling + Taylor Swift + Coldplay + me = amazed

So I stalk Perezhilton.com religiously because he has the daily dose of RPattz and is always up to date with Twilight drama and stills! But he featured this clip of the much anticipated TV show Glee, which I've been dying over and can't wait for the Fall season to start so I figure I'd share it with y'all.

The lovely Amy Naree tagged me to do the "6 Things that Make You Happy." So here it is!

1. Friends
My friends are so important in my life. They keep me grounded and provide me with wonderful times and laughs. I value them a whole freakin' lot and they make me really uber happy hahaha.

2. Food
What girl doesn't love FOOD! It makes me full and content... thus HAPPY! I don't care if it's froyo, cupcakes, ramen, or steak... food is awesomness.

3. Singing and Dancing in the car
He's gonna kill me for using this picture...
No matter what mood I'm in I can count on music to either mellow me out or put a smile on my face. But put me in a car with my iPod and it's over! I also like watching my friends jam in their cars cause we get silly.

4. Baking
I love baking. Sometimes I bake when I'm bored, or happy, or stressed. No matter the reason it always cheers me up... probably cause the end product is Food... haha

5. Webcams
Hahaha! He made that face cause I got a snapshot of him before making a silly face at me. I love webcams. Although it's not as good as seeing someone in person, it's good enough for me until I can. It makes missing someone a little bit easier...

6. Cuddling
I'm a cuddler. Guilty.

I tag... EVERYONE. That's right. I want to know what puts a smile on your face!

till next time, lovers

Hi, I am C.Tang and I am UBER Forgetful- Swatches + Reviews + Award

Anyone that knows me, knows that I am extremely forgetful! I totally forgot a LOT of things that I was going to put in my previous post, but I will make it up in this one :)

First, I realized that I never did a swatch of my Revlon lipsticks on my lips! Dumbass hahaha. So here they are for your viewing pleasure!
Here's my natural lip with lip balm for comparison.

Gentlemen Prefer Pink

As I said before, this is my FAVORITE out of the three that I picked up. It gives my lips a noticeable but gentle pearly pink. I've had no problems with this lippie drying out my lips at all and to say the least I'm pretty much in love with it. I can wear it almost everyday with any outfit... other then my gym clothes :)
Pink About It

So, this was the BRIGHT ass pink lipstick that reminded me of a strawberry pink. And now you can see what I mean by this swatch. It has grown on me a bit though, but I did find this one to be very drying after a few hours, which is weird because I never had a problem with my other Revlon Matte lipstick. Overall, I don't hate it but I don't love it. I'll probably be a lippie I keep on hand for a day where I'm feeling very fun and confident.

Pink Pout

Ahhhh. The lipstick that sparked the Revlon haul to begin with! I don't think this picture does this lipstick much justice but I absolutely LOVE this lipstick. It gives me the perfect nude lip without washing out my face completely. I've always had that issue with nude lips where it's so nude that it just makes my face look... off. Maybe I'll be able to show you guys in a picture one day. But this lipstick has very light pinks in it and when paired with Florabundance, I've got a lip that is perfect for summers.

So while I'm on the subjects of lipsticks. Christine and I were discussing a few things she wanted to buy (Revlon lippies) and we talked about how surprisingly nice the quality of this drug store lipstick was and then... It occurred to me.

Ever since I bought my Revlon lipsticks, I have completely neglected my Mac Honeylove. I tried wearing this lipstick out many times since I bought it and every time after a few hours, my lips are as dry as the Sahara Desert, despite putting lip balm under my lipstick. Does anyone else have this issue with Mac lipsticks? I know Mac is like the Holy Grail to many blogger babes and extremely lovable due to all their colors and finishes, but for $14 each and such popular demand, I kind of expected something more promising, even if I have to put lip balm under it. So lovely readers I must ask you, do you have the same issue with Mac lippies drying your lips or am I just imagining things? How was your first Mac lipstick experience? Also, what are your favorite lipsticks brands/colors?

Keep or Return?
Since I'm on a ROLL with this beauty stuff, why stop now?! My Lancome BiFacil has been at it's very last days of life for a while and I wanted to try something other then the BiFacil becuase I'll be the first to admit, I am not made of money and my beauty addiction has taken a toll on my bank account. I've read many reviews that Clinique Take the Day Off is comparable to the Lancome Bifacil. So I went out and bought a travel size of Take the Day Off (1.7 fl oz for $8.50 at Sephora) instead of the full size (4.2 fl oz for $17.50) vs Lancome BiFacil which only comes in the 4.2 fl oz size for $26 . That's a whole $8.50 difference for the same amount of product.

Here are my thoughts on the Lancome Bifacil:
- A little bit goes a long way
- very gentle on eyes (doesn't matter if I'm using toilet paper or cotton balls)
- 1 or 2 swipes gets ALL my make up off, including MUFE liner or MAC waterproof liner

My thoughts on Take the Day Off:
- not as gentle as BiFacil, but no tugging necessary to take off make up
- 2 to 4 swipes to get off all water proof liner
- sometimes I have to go back with a Q-tip and get the remaining liner on my eyes
- I generally have to dip my cotton ball 2x
- The layers never seperate properly again after using... instead it creates a 3rd milky colored layer between.... reminds me of Organic chemistry and inorganic layers and organic layers... hahaha I'm such a geek!

Overall thoughts:
Is Take off the Day as great as BiFacil? : H-e-double hockey sticks NO
Is TOTD a good and cheaper alternative to BiFacil?: Yes. Yes it is.
Would I recommend TOTD to a friend?: Totally! My friends and I were playing with make up one day and we all used it.

Verdict: Keep or Return?
Keep. It's good for what it is and the price doesn't break the bank. Will I be running out to buy the full size when I'm done with the travel size? No. I've read on some blogs that baby oil does the job just as well! We all know that the key in removing make up is oil! Yes, it leave a residue on your face, but I wash my face post-taking off make up anyways! Plus it's hella cheap. It's worth the try. But if baby oil doesn't work out, I'll more then likely return to using BiFacil.

So the lovely Puff gave me the blogger buddie award:
I love the icon that goes for it! It's so cute!! Thank you, Puff for giving me this award! You are too sweet. I love the idea behind it because we are all kinda like buddies on blogger :)

Rules:
Pass this award on to bloggers you feel are friendly (hence blogger "buddie" :D) and interesting posters as well!

I award:

p.s.
"Tony Kim" (12:05:21 PM): I GOT ALL 151 POKEMON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is the IM I just got...which reminds me that I've been wanting to share something with y'all for a while. There is this website called Sporcle that Dan got me addicted to... and I in turn got Tony addicted to this summer. It's basically a category game. For example: Name the Original 150 Pokemon... (which Tony has done God knows how many times) and you just type your answers (if it's the right answer it'll automatically go in, no need to press enter). The site is updated daily with new categories so I do it when I get REALLY bored. I think I've done a good 75% of them... and 20% I've done twice.

I don't know if I've ever told you guys, but I can see the future... I foreshadow...

That I will be writing a post on my thoughts of the movie 500 Days of Summer, another nail swatch, show you guys a bit of my closet and my shoes, food that I've been meaning to share... and do another tag :D

Nails, Swatches, and Pictures, OH MY!

How was your weekend, my lovely chicas?? My weekend was pretty wonderful. This picture basically explains why my weekend was so great:
Hahahahaha. Oh yes, this is the stud muffin, Philip from a previous post... with a funny face and shot glasses on his head. Did I ever mention I have the BEST friends?! But I'll save the pictures of my life for later on in the post.

I mentioned before that I had a little China Glaze haul and I've been painting my nails random colors lately. Here's the product of Thursday night:
Sexy in the City

This color reminds me of the mermaid color that Sephora had on their website for a while. It's got subtle green undertones that you can't see in the picture. It's so nice and shiny. My thoughts on China Glaze so far is pretty freakin' rad. I haven't had any chipping what so ever and the colors come out very nice. I ususally do two coats to get an even color :)

I also forgot to mention this little thing when I did my post on my Revlon haul! My bad.
Revlon Color Stay Pallete in Saultry Smokey

So far I've only played with the colors. I realized that the picture doesn't really show that the last color is a very light Lavender. So far, that one is my favorite. I really have no effin' clue how to apply eyeshadow ( I'm such a N00b) but chyeah. I've tried a few things out and I look like a freak of nature with colored eyelids. Hahahaha. My friend Monica used to do my make up before I went out when I lived in Connecticut (for all of 6 months, fail). So hopefully one day I'll master the skills of eyelid art and show you guys how great this pallet is.

So this past week was one of my best friends birthday! (see post below haha) And to say the least we had to throw a party since it was her big 21st. I'm sure I totally bore you guys with my life but my friends are such a big part of me and this blog is intended to document my beauty habits and my life events, so I figure I'd share a few pictures with y'all. If you want more, friend me on Facebook! My badge is to the right... please let me know if that link allows you to friend me. My privacy settings on my FB are so complicated I confuse myself sometimes.

One of my favorite pictures from the night. Classic Joel face. Why must he be so tan! Amanda creeping in the back!

Amanda and Daniel. They've known each other since like 5th Grade... and I think they're secretly best friends, they just don't want to admit it to each other.

This is me with my friend Sean. I look awful in this pic, but I wanted to show you guys Sean. Cori and I call him Jacob Black ahahha. He looked a lot more like Jacob with his old long hair but now he's Wolf Pack Jacob with his short hair. Amanda kept going on and on about how he and his brothers, and our friends (who are also brothers) compose the Wolf Pack... I love drunk Amanda!

My big bro, Avo and me. My picture taking skills were so sloppy at this point, but I love Avo's God pose hahaha. No, he's not really my brother by birth, but we might as well be family.

I love the Birthday Girl, Cori, to pieces <3. Sorry for the blurriness but Cori and I agreed that it's very metaphorical to how the night was... a blur but totally fun.

We are thicker then blood, we are a bit more than friends, we are family <3

---

So I haven't hauled much since I'm trying to save up a bit, but I did buy a few clothes that I've been meaning to show you girls so that'll definatly be next post! I am by NO means a fashionista and I have a hard time picking out clothes that fit me right, but when I do I snatch that up!

Hope everyone is doing well :)

Happy Birthday + Random You Tube Video

I want to wish my LOVELY WONDERFUL BESTIE, CORI a...

HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY TO THE AWESOMEST CHICA AMORFACE EVERRRRRR!
An old picture of us from the best summer ever.

Yeah, I get really excited about my girl's birthdays especially the big 21. Yes, I'm totally obnoxious and feel the need to announce it to the world that my friends are born on their birthday, I apologize. Just a nice and short post today. Gym in the mornin' then hopefully getting a new cell phone!

Thanks to everyone that responded to my last post about the hair straightener situation :)

I end this post with one of Cori and I's favorite youtube video. WARNING: NSFW! His name is Bo Burnham and he's a comedian and one of the most offensive and hilarious people I've ever watched! Please don't watch if you're easily offended. I've got a totally twisted sense of humor. You'll see what I mean after you watch this.

p.s. I'm a geek and actually did the math to see how many years it'd be statutory rape... hahaha >.<
His CD and DVD is available at Target for $9.99!

Enjoy, blogger chicas!

Stacy's Giveaway Package + Revlon Haul

This is my "HI!!!!!" face. *insert frantic waving hand to all bloggers reading this* Hahaha... I'm so awkward it's insane.

Moving on to the post...

I hauled some Revlon lipsticks that I must share with you guys because I'm totally in love with them.

Revlon Matte Lipstick - Pink Pout (without flash)
This picture does NO justice to this lipstick. It's actually a very pretty light pink. I wore this for the first time today and so far I'm very impressed with this. I read on SwatchCrazee's blog that this is about a shade lighter then Mac's Pink Nouveau. I don't own Pink Nouveau but if you go to her post here you can see for yourselves :).

I read a lot of reviews that said that Revlon Matte lipsticks were very drying but I didn't have this issue at all during my 7+ hours of wearing it. I did put a layer of Palmer's Cocoa Butter Swivel Stick on my lips before applying the lipstick. I finished my lips with Mac's Florabundance on top of this and it gave me a wonderful pink lip. Regretfully, I didn't take any pictures, but I'll be sure to include a pic soon with this lippie.

Revlon Matte Lipstick- Pink About It (without flash)
I've only swatched this on my hand so far but the color still scares me a bit. It is more of a strawberry red in my opinion than a pink. It's extreamly bright too... I have no idea when I'll ever wear this but when I do I'll be sure to post a picture haha.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick (Pearl Finish)- Gentlemen Prefer Pink
Without flash (can you see my China Glaze haul... hahaha next post :) )

With flash

I picked this lipstick out on a total whim, no lie. I was just standing looking at the colors and grabbed this one and asked Cori if she liked it and she said she thought the color was cute so I bought it. Little did I know that I would fall in love with this lippie. It's a very cute pink and and it lasts for a while. Again, I had no problem with drying but I tend to always put either cocoa butter or chapstick on my lips first because I hate having chapped lips, espeically with lipsticks.

I got bored and decided to play with my new lipsticks. Here's the product of my boredom:
I blended Gentlemen Prefer Pink and Pink Pout together and topped it with NYX Smokey Look (159) that I got from Stacy from her giveaway (see below).

^ Revlon Lipsticks side by side w/ flash. Top to Bottom: Pink About It, Pink Pout, Gentlemen Prefer Pink

^ without flash

And of course I have to include a swatch!
L to R with Flash: NYX Smokey Look, NYX Frosted Biege, Gentlemen Prefer Pink, Pink About It, Pink Pout
Same order, without flash

So Mai (Maitai [I love her blog! Her pictures and posts are always so interesting]) and I won Stacy's (stacieeelovesit) giveaway! I was so excited cause I've never won anything before and I love Stacy (and her blog :) ) so I couldn't wait to see what goodies would come in the mail. I loved everything she got me! Here's a few pics:

EEP! Words cannot express how happy/grateful I am for her gifts. I'm especially in love with the NYX glosses she included. I've tried both of them for work and they look wonderful (will swatch later for you guys :) ).

So I've been on a mission to live up this summer as much as possible which is why I become MIA from blogger. I went mini golfing with Donna, Donna's brother, and JPromster last week and here's my favorite picture that I stole from Donna from the event.

Oh yeah. We were proud of our golf balls.

This whole having a bit of freedom during the summer (instead of school) has given me a new outlook on life. I used to let a lot of things eat at me and be bothered by so much drama, but I'm determined to just let go of a lot of it. Not let things bug me so much and to put it simply, "brush the dirt off my shoulder." Life is honestly too short to be bothered by things and people that aren't worth the effort. Drama is so unnecessary and is so middle school. Part of growing up is leaving stuff in the past and that is what I plan on doing. As much as I hate getting older (my secret wish is to be forever 17 cause I had the time of my life at 17), it's going to happen and there is nothing I can do to stop it, so why not embrace it and fill my life with wonderful people who love me for who I am and have done nothing but been there for all the smiles, laughs, and tears?

Ok so enough about my new philosophy.

I also got to hang out with Cori D 4 days in a row! I swear this hasn't happened since summer of 06, but I love hanging out with this girl and I hate how responsiblities come in the way of our hang out time! We took a little trip to Rita's to hang out with our friend Philip.
Cori D! Rockin' my black and white Wayfarers that I got from Forever 21 :) This lovely chica is turning 21 this Friday and I know how much she loves them so they're offically hers. <3 style="text-align: center;">

RITAS! It's almost as good as Froyo. They have the yummiest Custard ever. I didn't get anything the day we went but I always get the twist of Vanilla and Chocolate custard in a waffle cone with rainbow sprinkles on the side so I can dunk my custard into it so every bite is a sprinkle bite. Haha, I just realized how childish that sounded! But seriously, I ate at this place at least once a week during the summer of '06. Their Italian ice is pretty gosh darn yummy too. I'm sure I'll have actual pictures of their yum yums in later posts.
My friend Philip who I haven't seen in at least 4 months or so. Haha, I think he looks like such a stud muffin in this picture. He's a fire fighter, thus his little radio thing-a-ma-bobber and his guns (what I like to call biceps). He was the only one from his squad at the station that day but Cori and I begged and pleaded for him to come out and meet us ( I told him that Rita's was on fire and it was his duty to put it out. :) ) because we hadn't seen him in forever. Seeing him just makes me more excited because I can't wait to be reunited with all my old friends at Cori's 21st birthday party. It's the one of the few events all summer that brings us all back together regardless of what we're all doing. It's going to be such a shit show, I can't wait. XD

Amy (Amy Naree) was sweet enough to give me the Perky Blogger award! Please go follow her now if you haven't already. I love reading her blog post; she's got the most amazing jewlary and clothes and I adore her FOTD and Amy is so sweet and just down right adorable and we're almost twins haha :) Thanks again for the award, Darling!

Rules:

Grab this award on my blog by leaving a comment on this post. Please make a post of this award on your blog then link the person who gave this award to you. Also, you must pass this award on to bloggers you choose.

'Till next time, lovers.

Cupcakes & Harry Potter

Hola Chicas , as promised:
Mocha Cupcakes with Cream Cheese buttercream!

Materials you'll need:
  • muffin liners
  • cupcake pan
  • mixer (optional)
  • 1 large bowl
  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 cup/mug
Ingredients for Cupcakes: (makes approx. 14 depending on how much you fill the liners)

Dry mix:
  • 1 1/3 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder ( I use Hershey's)
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
Coffee Mix:
  • 1 1/2 tsp instant coffee powder (depending on how much you like coffee you can add up to 3 tsp. or more. I ususally use 1 1/2 tsp when I make 6 cupcakes because I love love love coffee) I use Neastle Taster's Choice and I've also used Foldgers before
  • 1/2 cup hot water (I added 3/4 cup since I used 3 tsp cause it looked a bit dark)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of whole milk (I used 2% and it was fine)
Wet mix:
  • 1 stick of softened unsalted butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 large egg
1. Combine all the ingredients in the dry mix in a large bowl and sift together. If you don't have a shifter just use a whisk or a fork and mix everything together evenly. :)
2. Mix softened butter, sugar, and egg in a large mixing bowl until creamy.
3. Add 1/2 of dry mix into the wet mix until the lumps are gone.
4. Combine instant coffee, water, milk, and vanilla extract in a large cup.
5. Add remaining dry mix and coffee mixture into wet mix and combine until creamy and lumps are gone.

6. Line the cupcake pan with your liners and fill liners with your cupcake mixture until about 2/3 full (most recipies say 1/3 full but I love muffin tops!). I usually use a 1/3 measuring cup and pour it in. I find it a lot easier and cleaner. Just make sure you don't go over the liner :)
7. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees! To check if done, stick a toothpick into a random cupcake if it comes out clean then you're good. Allow them to sit then eat alone or top with cream cheese frosting!

Cream Cheese Buttercream

- 4 oz. of softened cream cheese (half of the little tub)
- 1/2 stick of unsalted butter
- 1 tsp. of vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup of powdered sugar

Mix butter and cream cheese together then combine remaining ingredients. I put the frosting in a container and top the cupcakes to serve :) I put it in the fridge and it's fine.

Its so lumpy!
Ahhh! This is what I'm talking about :)
The final product:

The amount of coffee I use has varied from batch to batch. The review on this batch so far is that the inital taste is chocolaty but the coffee comes at you as an after taste. So I'm thinking a bit more coffee next time. I'm used to making half the recipe so that might be it haha. But they always turn out pretty good.

I spent some quality time with Donnasaurus Rex & the M. Bros (haha like Mario brothers!) and it was so much fun. We hit up Charm City Cupcakes and I have to say... they make the best cupcakes in MARYLAND. No lie, I've never had a better cupcake in my life. It was moist... the frosting tasted like... HEAVEN! And that's saying something since I HATE frosting... I'm a buttercream slut/fattie. But their "frosting" wasn't even frosting... it's it own catagory of decoration! I wish I had my camera with me to take some awesome pics but it was a negatory. We ended up catching dinner at this Vietnamese resturant that looked pretty promising. Haha in our epic failure, when we went to go pay we didn't realize that they didn't take credit cards. Good thing we had cash on us and were able to pay the bill and leave a bit of a tip before we left.

We ate a bunch of food but both of us forgot to bring our cameras so unfortunately there are no pictures of our wonderful time together :( Hopefully the next time we go to Baltimore I'll have my camera ready and going!

My buddy TK and I planned a little chill trip after our final the other day. We've been planning this trip since the third week of our summer class just to have something to look forward to after a depressing final haha. He's been known to jam in his car and I vowed to bring my camera along. He was skeptical about me bringing my camera along (as he should have), but I won't upload any of his jam out videos because I still want to have a friend after I post this haha. But I will show this:

Hahaha! His face is priceless when he realizes what I'm doing.

We had planned to go to Koh's Buloogogi in this town center but when we got there... it wasn't there anymore. Turns out that they moved and I didn't know it so we ended up paying $2.50 for 15 minutes of parking. TK knew of this other Korean place that was about 10 minutes away so we drove over there. I can't remember what it's called or what we got (he ordered in Korean...) and was so hungry I didn't take pictures, but! I do remember that we ordered Galbi which is similar to Bulgogi but the short rib version. They were effin' DELISH! I just googled a few terms and apparently we had Doenjang Soondooboo, which is a kind of tofu soup with a broth made to your level of spicy-ness with different kinds of meat or seafood and it came with kimchi, pickled radishs, rice, and spicy cucumbers. All I know is that it was freakin DELISH.
I tried to get a shot of TK's dream car... a Dodge Charger cop car hahaha but was unsuccessful.
We actually got "lost" for a bit but the navigator in my head with the little map got us back to the right road. We were driving on this long country road for a while and he totally jammed to B.Spears but I didn't catch on video :( At last! We got to Caliyo!
Tony's first taste of my obsession! MMMMMmmmm :)
Tony's concoction: mango and honey dew frozen yogurt twist, pink grapefruit frozen yogurt, rainbow sprinkles, gummy bears, M&Ms, skittles... and there may be peaches in there haha
Mine: half mango froyo, half honey dew yogurt, gummy bears, peaches, boboa, mochi!

Hahah I was really happy about caliyo and that I was done with summer classes.
Tony was happy about something. Probably about the yummy yogurt... and our sweet jam session and overall fun time haha. I didn't even realize it until he mentioned it but he looks like Mashimoro!
So I LOVE Harry Potter. To say the least I was UBER UBER UBER EXCITED for HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE. It's been ages since I've read the books ( I want to re-read them soon though) but I've been waiting for the new movie to come out for a while... I'm still mad that they pushed it back till now but all that matters is that I got to see it. Of course I had to go to the midnight showing...
Dan waiting for my friends to arrive at the theatre so we'd all go in at the same time. He's wearing my glasses. =P
My favorite: Sour Patch Watermelons! I ate Rasinettes during the movie but I also bought these!

I'm not going to lie. I was mildly disappointed by the movie. I thought it was going to be so much darker (similar to the setting of the book) but I found myself laughing more then anything else. I can't lie, the chemistry in the movie is undeniable and the humor is genius! But I missed the big battle and the quality stuff that made the 6th book sit on the edge of your seat while you read. I don't want to ruin the movie for anyone but I'll defiantly be seeing this movie again. Lavender Brown was PERFECT... I know my best friend is still upset that the original Lavender from Prisoner of Azkaban got replaced by some crazy white girl but she played the character so well it's insane.

So this post can't be ended without SOMETHING about cosmetics. My Palmer's Swivel stick has been at it's end for a while now and I always wondered how much was left once it doesn't come up anymore... so I decided preform a little bit of surgery.
I used an Xacto knife and cute off the top (I turned it so whatever was left wouldn't get cut of course) and then I swiveled it back up and popped out the remaining cocoa butter.
There's hella lot left! I'm using this little nub until I run down to the very end cause I'm currently broke as a mo :)

Sorry for the total lack of posts. I've been trying to get organized since I finished class and I have a new job as a hostess on the weekends :) Not to mention I'm trying to live up my summer since it's my first one since my Senior year of high school.

Coming up in future posts:
Angel Food Cake!

Until next time, lovers

xoxoxCtang

p.s. Anyone have any recommendations on must haves from their make up collection? I've been trying to buy something new to add but I haven't seen anything that has caught my eye. Whether it be something from the drugstore or Sephora or what now :) Thanks ahead of time.
