"Did you know 'this' and 'shit' have the same letters in them?"

Do you have a major case of the Mondays? (Office Space reference!) I know I did, especially with all this studying.
This past weekend Christine and I went out shopping and here are a few pics from Saturday.
Here's Christine in her Oliver Peoples sunglasses she fell in love with at Off Sak's Fifth Ave.

Haha. I'm a sweater knit me! The same glasses that Christine fell in love with but in tortoise shell! I'm in a desperate need for tortoise shell sunglasses since I have my black Ray-Bans already =(
Here are a pair of sexy Betsyville by Betsy Johnson shoes I totally fell in love with. The bottoms of the shoes were sparkly hot pink! They were $149 and uber high, but so hot. Please ignore my toes and my Rainbows haha. Christine told me to take a picture in the shoes =)

Some silly, but adorable glasses that make me look like effin' Yoko Ono or something.

As I mentioned I got some new stuff from Mac and just wanted to let you guys know what I thought of it.
Left to Right: Lipglass in Florabundance, Plushlash in Plushblack, Lipstick in Honeylove (Matte)

Let's start with the mascara. Plushlash is my new favorite mascara! While I'm still contemplating the Givenchy, I will definitely be using this for the next 3 months. I love this mascara so much that I actually want to use it every day! Here's the breakdown of what I have to say about it:
1. It holds a curl
2. ITS ONLY $12!
3. It doesn't flake or clump!!
4. It does great on volumizing my lashes and it even lengthens a little bit
5. DID I MENTION IT'S ONLY $12?!
This was a recommendation from Christine (Closet Rebel) and boy am I glad I got it. I actually like this mascara much more then Fresh's Supernova and Benefit's Bad Gal. I know I raved about Supernova, but over time the mascara would start to flake and I'd get 'coon eyes (and we all know how attractive that is!). I do not have any flaking with Plushlash and the fact that it holds a curl on my lashes is amazing!
Here's a look at the wand.
Here's a picture of my lashes without mascara (click to enlarge =) ) I have typical Asian lashes that point down and are very short.
With Plushlash! I don't know about you but I'm shocked at the difference.

So I finally got my first lipstick! I've always been weary about lipstick because I see that it dries out lips and I HATE having dry lips. But I instantly fell in love with this color and had to get it.
Mac lipstick in Honeylove.
Words cannot express how much I love this lipstick and I found it on a total accident. Christine tried on this adorable pale pink Shu Uemura lipstick while we were at Nordstroms and I asked the SA if Mac had something similar and she showed me this. While it's not a pale pink, it gives me the perfect nude-ish lip in my opinion. Like I've said before, I've never really liked colors such as Hue or Creme d'nude on me and I have no idea why. But no worries because now I have Honeylove! At the counter this may look a little too beige, but once you see it in the light you see the rosey colors. It's a Matte finish which I adore because I hate when my lips are far too shiny.
Here are my lips with nothing but Palmer's Cocoa butter on them to moisturize so my lips don't dry out.
Here are my lips again just with a flash to see the difference. They're pink... just like most lips haha. Nothing too speical.

Sorry this picture is a little dark but the one with flash didn't come out too well. This is with Honeylove on. The color of my lips are muted but not too much and they still look a little pink. The second picture is just with another layer of it on.
Tada!

Here's a swatch of Honeylove and Florabundance on my hand. My arm is a bit tanner then my face (I hang my arm out my window when I drive so I'm brown on one arm and caramel on the other... FML) so it doesn't really do much justice but you get the point =)

So I tried on NARS Turkish Delight once and totally fell in love with it but I couldn't stand the price tag. I mentioned this to Christine and she said that I should try either Underage or Florabundance. I can't remember why Underage didn't work out for me all I know is that I tried it on and looked in the mirror and Christine and I both shook our heads. Florabundace on the other hand was just perfect. I guess I'm a sucker for those peachy colors.

Top: Florabundance with no flash Bottom: Florabundance with flash

Here I layered Florabundance on top of Honeylove and it made a very nice pale pink color. Again, top without flash, bottom with flash.

On a totally random side note! I went to the car dealership with my friend Tony today after class because he's planning on getting a new car. He's totally in love with this car:
2008 Dodge Charger SRT8.
I am by no means a car buff, but after hearing Tony go on about this car for the past couple of days, I think I have two words that sum up this car. "Vroom, Vroom!" They have one in the show room at the dealer we went to and the guy who owned it previously, traded it in because his wife said it was too fast. The engine is a monster and the inside is huge and I'm pretty sure you can fit 3 bodies in the trunk. I think we spent a good 30 minutes just gazing at the car and sitting in it. Before we went into the show room though, Tony pointed out the Dodge Challenger and I had no idea what it was so we walked over to it. I am not a big fan of American cars but I instantly fell in love with this:
2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8
As Tony would put it: *drool*!!!! It's a completely modernized muscle car. I wanted to see the SRT8 version but they only open it for serious buyers but they did open up the R/T version and it was amazing. While I never see myself buying this car... well never say never haha... but it's just so hot. I think we're heading back tomorrow to test drive the Dodge Charger RT (a step down from the SRT8) because Tony decided that he doesn't need such a high performance car... if I don't survive please know that I love you all.

Until next time, lovers.

"Give me high blood pressure when you blush."

Well! My haul from Mac's Friends and Family sale came in and to say the least I am ECSTATIC about what I got!
Everything in it's packaging.
Top Left: Sheertone Shimmer Dollymix Blush, Carbon Eyeshadow, Stain Well Dressed Blush, Highlight Powder in Honey Light, and Technkhol Eyeliner in Graphblack.

These 5 things are just adding to my ever growing Mac collection. I never thought I'd be such a fan of the brand but it's grown a lot on me.
I made this little box from the Mac cardboard box that they ship the make-up in. I just cut off the lid with an Xacto knife, take some red tissue paper from one of my Sephora bags sitting around and wrap up the foam that cushions the package and stuck it back in. It works great to organize the make up that I don't keep in my bag so it's accessible and safe from falling. With my new goodies is my Springsheen and Mineralized Skin Finish Natural and Powerpoint Eyeliner in Engraved.

Initial thoughts:

Dollymix
This blush lived up to every single expectation I had for it. It's a nice bright pink that doesn't look unnatural on your cheeks. Gives your cheeks a nice flush like you just pinched them. I adore this color!! I have a bit of a heavy hand with blush but a little bit of rubbing will blend the color perfectly.
AH! I'm in love with this color! I wouldn't dare say that I love it more then Springsheen but those two have got to be my faves.

Well Dressed
I love the color of this blush in the pan. It's a adorable pale pink, but I'm afraid it's too light for me. I swatched it in the store and decided to buy it anyways because it had a nice pale pink shade but I put it on my cheeks and it looked as if I hadn't put any blush on at all. In particular lighting you can see the pink, but other then that nope. I'll more then likely be returning this product but what should I exchange it for? Another blush?? Suggestions anyone?

Here's a side by side view:
Left: Well Dressed Right: Dollymix (I can't keep straight faces)

Technkhol in Graphblack
EEP! I like this liner so much! It goes on very smoothly and and gently. I've been wearing it for about 4 hours now and it's sort of disappeared but that is what I bought Carbon for! Given, I did apply it to the waterline because I prefer my liner to be there, but I lined my eyes with Powerpoint and put Carbon on top and its barely budged! Things are finally looking up in the eyeliner department.

I went to H-Mart ( my local chain Asian supermarket) with my parents a few weeks back and I found some amazing things that I never knew existed/they had!

I've seen this candy before but I think the little girl on the packaging is adorable! It's like me
Then I saw this!
GIANT POCKY!!! OHMYGGGGGAWWWWDDD!
I made my brother take a picture of me with Giant Pocky. I almost bought it but then I saw the price haha but seeing it was enough for me!

I'm a little bit obsessed with cute looking things. Milk candy is so yum yum.

So, what have I been wearing? Nothing too special, haha. My style is always very casual and comfortable.
new F21 dress that I got a few months ago. The straps are braided =) But it's cut pretty low. With AE Bandeau that was on clearance for about $7
Haha I was dumb. I only took a picture of the top half of the outfit. I wore this pink long sleeve Ralph Lauren button down (with sleeves folded up above the elbow), dark washed Gap denim skirt, and dressed it down with Converse laceless Chuck Taylors (my fave!)

So I've visited CVS a lot in the past couple of days (had to pick up a few prescriptions for the fam) and I found some Adrell lashes and ORLY polish. I really wanted to buy some polish but I told myself no make up for a while, but I don't even know what color to start coloring my nails. I'm really indecisive. If you guys have any suggestions what so ever feel free to let me know =) I'd greatly appricate it.

This is my new favorite video/song! Haha sometimes I feel like such a teenie bopper for liking JoBros and Demi Lovato but I can't deny but dance to their songs! But Demi and Selena Gomez together... AWESOMNESSSSSS! Ta Da! Not to mention I love both their lip colors/make up in the video =)

So Tell Me Darling Do You Wish We'd Fall In Love?

My new obsession: Glee/Cory Monteith
Glee is a new series on Fox that is essentially High School Musical with a lot more comedy and a girl that doesn't sing through her nose that you can't help but hate. The pilot premiered and the actual show won't start until fall, but I already can't wait!
No RPattz, but he can sing and be hilarious. His eyes aren't too bad either. (Gush) Haha, Daniel always tells me that every guy I find attractive is always a brunette and he never understood why I am attracted to him. He's just special, I suppose.

Here's a clip of Glee singing one of my favorite songs of all time. (Journey's Don't Stop Believin')

And this clip here is the one that offically got me hooked to this show:

So I need a solution to my bad habit of wanting to go to the mall and this is what I have come up with: Make a Wish List. It helps me slowly cross off one thing at a time but should prevent hauls. Of course I'm making this list after I just got back from the mall and bought more Mac products. So as I jam out to Simon and Garfunkel you get this LIST of amazing little knick knacks. My friends may think that I rarely buy shit, but the main reason is because it'd be a slippery hill once I start. Plus, it's not just make-up I'm in love with, I'm a bag whore. I present you (in no particular order):

C.Tang's Wish- List

1. Mac Studio Fix - NC 40
So I recently went to MAC and got matched with a foundation color, but today I bought the Mineralized Natural Powder instead because the SA told me that it would be better for summer and I don't know if I'm ready to commit to a shade yet especially in the summer knowing that I'll get darker.

MAC - $26

2. Mac Powerpoint Liner
I kinda fell in love with this liner when I bought it the other day but I ended up returning it because I didn't like the color (Grey Utility). I haven't bought a new one in black yet because I bought the Fluid Line from MAC instead (part of my MAC haul), but I'll more then likely be buying this sometime soon because I loved how smooth it went on.

MAC - $14.50

3. Benefit Jing-A-Ling
I love PINKS. Jing-A-Ling is the perfect pink! I think the color is so delicate and feminine and simply irresistible. I haven't bought this mainly because I have so much lip stuff that I haven't finished using yet, but I haven't bought a lipstick before... This will definately have to also be an investment sometime soon.

Sephora - $18

4. Louis Vuitton Totally Monogram MM
Louis are to me as baseball cards are to little boys. I collect them. It's an unhealthy love for a bag but handbags and make up are generally my weakness. I adore the bag for the side pockets and the zip close and the long straps. I have a speedy 30 that I can throw on my arm, but every girl needs a good shoulder bag. This will be mine.

Louis Vuitton - $1,000

5. Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM Damier
Anyone that knows me knows that I love Louis Vuitton. It's something about the classic look that I can't get over. Christine wants the Monogram Neverfull and I have a thing about having the same bag as my friends so I decided I wanted the Damier print because I've always wanted a Louis Damier. It's perfect for going out or heading to work. It packs everything you need because it's so big and like it says... it's never full!

Louis Vuitton - $750

6. Ray Ban Wayfarers
These make me nostalgic. I remember being really little and seeing my Mommy wear them. She wore them religiously and the Ray Ban Wayfarers were the only sunglasses she wore because she didn't believe that any other pair would do. Well, my mom has moved on from the Wayfarers but she still lives by Ray Ban and sadly, like mother like daughter. I have a pair of Ray Bans but I've always wanted a pair of Wayfarers because I love the classic style and the pop culture icon it became in the 80s. Of course I have a pair from Chinatown that I got, but nothing beats the real thing. Honestly, if I had the money I'd buy a pair in every color imaginable.

Sunglasses Hut - $109-135

7. Forever 21 Print Dress
I randomly fell in love with this dress. I saw it on a rack at F21 and tried it on as a joke. (I remember telling Christine, "Who the fuck would wear this out?!") Took me about 5 minutes to figure out how to get into it, but once I put it on I had a really hard time letting it go. I wanted a size up but they didn't have it so I decided to put it down. A week later this dress was gone. I searched 2 f21 but nothing. I found it online but was (and still am) too frugal to pay for shipping. I'm waiting to go to NYC and see if I have any luck... but I'll probably buy it when I get back if I don't find it.

Forever 21 - $24.95

8. Robert Pattinson

Priceless.

That's it for now. =) 3 More days until NYC! Probably a post about my haul I did yesterday later on today.
